1 day > train ride and visit to an interactive centre

. The Empress Helena, mother of Emperor Constantine, fled these lands, persecuted by the Moors. On her travels she sat down to rest at a spot from where a fountain now springs, and where "a stone may be seen in the form of a seat and two foorprint shapes, which, according to tradition, are those of the persecuted Saint. She arrived at the hermitage and took shelter in the cave where even the spiders wove invisible webs to help protect her.' The origins of the hermitage date back to the XIII century. In this spot alone there are many more stories, some of which you will discover for yourselves if you visit the place, others you can hear from people who live in the valley.

. 'Casa Periel' mill . Sabiñánigo . Sabiñánigo
An old building of constructivist style, the history behind the Harinera at 'Casa Periel' begins in 1923 with the opening of a seafood business and a bakery which lasted until 1977. The flour factory was set up in 1953 and was run alongside the mill until the refurbishment of the building in 1961. In 1973 the building stopped all industrial functions. Visiting this place is a great opportunity to get to know one of the countries first industrial flour mills and imagine the process through which the wheat passed from the moment that it was poured into the chutes to the moment that it was converted into flour.
